To keep the Luran skins looking new for years to come, please follow the suggested manufacturer’s cleaning instructions.

Weatherability - Excellent resistance to outdoor exposure, aging and yellowing. Same material used in auto grills and mirrors, garden furniture, and outdoor signs.

Durability - Great toughness and rigidity. Will not crack like FRP.

Thermally Stable - Reduced sagging and bowing in high heat conditions.

Scratch Resistant - Color fast through the sheet. Will not show abrasion like aluminum.
Impact Resistant - Will not dent or tear like aluminum. If ordering the Luran on one side only, Structall recommends that it be used as the exterior finish to take advantage of the product’s unique benefits. Special sizes and laminations will not be available for this particular product.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS: Always use the cleaner according to the manufacturer’s directions. Use a soft, clean cloth to apply the cleaner. Apply the cleaner to the cloth. Clean only a small portion of the surface at one time. After cleaning, rinse off the surface as completely as possible.

For general cleaning the following can be used: Ivory (soap and water solution), Formula 409, Windex, Spic and Span, Scrubbing Bubbles, Fantastik, Simple Green, and Pine Sol. For heavy cleaning, use the following, but remove immediately after use: Soft Scrub (may slightly abrade surface), Bug & Tar Remover, OOPS.

DO NOT USE: Acetone, Goof Off, cleaners containing esters, ethers, ketones, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, or Isopropanol (concentrations greater than 25%).

Luran Thermoplastic Clad Panels

The panels used for your building project have been clad with Luran Thermoplastic skins. For years this material has been used in products like auto grills and mirrors, garden furniture and outdoor signs, because of its weatherability, durability, thermal stability, and scratch and impact resistance. Luran won’t crack, dent or tear like some products on the market. It’s both tough and rigid. It also has an excellent resistance to outdoor exposure, aging and yellowing. It won’t sag or bow, even when exposed to high heat. In addition the color runs completely through the sheet, reducing the appearance of abrasions.
